Was heading up to my favorite place to snowboard ever - Mt Waterman when I called them to ensure they would be open and they were actually closed so I went skateboarding instead, at two parks

Pala is a new park in North San Diego county - super fun. Here is one of the flow areas

Here is Ron in the Kidney, Carpenter, Grandfather and rips on skateboard

Josh Nelson is an old Del Mar local. You used to walk up to the parking lot at the Del Mar Skate Ranch and you could here Josh, Allen Losi or Mike Smith grinding the heck outta the coping all the way in the parking. 20 plus years later, Josh still grinds loud and proud

Then, over at Encinitas, Jeff, a school teacher, ollies the hip

Marketing guy at Plan B/Syndrome deftly grinds the hip from shallow to deep. Hey, why does he have an Element sticker on his board.

So there you go keep skating and keep young
