c’mon, wake up. the whole media works like this for years. the only thing missing is an official price list of magazine space. inofficially you hardly get any coverage if you don’t do ads which basically means that editorial is only for those who pay. in fact the whole snowboard business works like this. there’s tons of riders out there that rip but you won’t ever know them because there’s no sponsor to pay for their coverage. its sad. I even heard some mags will switch to let sponsors officially pay for content.
