Sometimes you gotta work a lot to get by in life. I work 2 jobs and as a result I rarely slow down to enjoy the view. Recently though I drove to a contest in Utah instead of flying. Driving allows you to see the country and the people. I have driven across the US 10 times but it has been 13 years since the last time I did it. it was really nice driving to Utah. Sometimes the trip is about the journey and not the destination

Where old people go to die

A ranch in the middle of no where - Utah

part of d-town salt lake

The Destination was a skate contest

Park City in late summer

Aspens are always beautiful - Wasatch Mountains of Utah

Dog Lake

Like straight out of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Looking towards Zion from Gooseberry Mesa

Emma looks at the view but is probably dreaming of a vacant lot full of dog poop

Jesse and Emma

Dropping off the mesa

Dead End Road

Keeping watch

The cemetary was full of graves from the mid 1800’s. Cant even imagine how isolated this spot, outside Zion, would hve been back then

A ghost town, built in the 1850’s

These cows loved our dog, they all walked across a field to meet her

Huge cow - meet small dog

Most of us live in the city or suburbs and sights like a full moon rising over the mountains is a site too rarely seen. Road trips help with this problem
